I never force my children to finish their food, or eat what they don't want.

Having watched them both eat I am convinced that this is the natural way of eating.I've lost half a stone over the past few months and can only put it down to this as it's the only thing that has changed.I watch my children and they naturally do this as well.It's a definite cause of obesity so I never do that to my children and I'm trying to do it myself now. I am ttc tho, and a bit worried this might effect things? i like the idea of just watching for 2 days and eat normal the others.....But I'm overweight and don't want to have an unhealthy pregnancy and birth if I'm lucky enough to catch on. i know that i will always have to watch what i eat even when maintaining and the idea of just keeping track for 2 days suits me well!!From what i remember though it's better if you have all the 500 calories together in the middle of the day....rather than eek it out over the day...you think this makes a different. Will have to do it in the mornin now lol my first fast day today have been drinking water throughout and eaten cereal,cereal bar and crispbreads, it's been ok started to feel hungry around 5ish and feel hungry now but have come to bed roll on breakfast yum I have not had no side effects and am feeling pretty good and pleased that I managed to do it, how has everyone else been doing? Starting to feel quite hungry now,don't know if I should have a bit of lunch now or try and wait until teatime. ohhh damn I forgot to weigh myself yesterday mornin!

I last ate at 6pm last night and have not eaten since.I need to lose 7st according to my GP I have lost 3.5s before on SW, but I think I can fit this into my life more easily.My target is to lose 2 dress sizes by my 40th in June.thanks Claire W that's th he basics of it Some ok be I know has lost 2 stone doing it and says she has never felt healthier!I'm debating on doing 4:3 if that works lol 500 alternate days may even download the book My OH started doing it after watching horizon prog about it.am in the diet mode anyway, so shouldnt be too much of a struggle I' m starting this tomorrow and hopefully gonna try and make this a lifestyle change as well as regular exercise!
